We are open for business post-lockdown!

How to make an appointment

You can book emergency tooth aches, dental examinations and hygienist appointments via our online booking platform – for everything else, please phone and speak to reception.

We cannot unfortunately manage “walk-in” patients because we need to cover some essential information on the phone.

Attending the practice

We can only allow people who are fit and well and not exhibiting any of the well publicised COVID symptoms to visit us.

We are taking extra measures in the practice to ensure we contribute towards lowering the risk of the virus spreading.

We will be checking with you by phone to confirm your medical history and current health.

We may ask you to wait in your car or in the chart room before entering the practice.

We are asking all patients to wear a protective mask when they attend. Cloth masks are fine for this.

On arrival patients will be screened with an infra-red digital thermometer.

You will be asked to use our hand gel sanitiser when you arrive and before you leave.

We will be taking payments for treatment by phone whenever possible.

You will be expected to practice personal distancing with everyone in the practice except your dentist and nurse.

Extra precautions in the dental surgery

We now have installed state of the art virus killing, air filters in all our dental surgeries.

All surfaces will be meticulously cleaned throughout the day by our staff.

Patients will be asked to use an antiseptic rinse when they sit in the dental chair so as to reduce the viral load for any unknown carriers.

Please remember NOT to put fingers in your mouth when pointing things out to the dentist or hygienists as tempting as it may be.

When we carry out treatments that produce a spray, the dentist and nurse will be wearing full PPE at an additional cost of £9 which may make communication a bit more difficult than usual, especially for the hard of hearing. If you wear hearing aids, please ensure they are working with good batteries.
