Composite Bonding: your questions answered
Does composite bonding damage your teeth?
Usually little or no tooth needs to be removed, so your natural teeth are preserved.
How long does bonding last?
Several years with good care. It can be polished or repaired when needed.
Can bonding be whitened?
No. Composite doesn’t change colour with whitening, so we whiten first if you want a brighter shade.
Does it hurt?
Most bonding needs no anaesthetic.
Should I choose bonding or veneers?
Bonding is quicker, more conservative and costs less: from £300 per tooth, against from £750 per tooth for porcelain veneers. Porcelain veneers last longer and resist staining. We’ll help you decide.
