It costs the home nothing, with no admin for your team. Residents pay only for their own treatment, quoted in writing first, and eligible Pension Plus members pay nothing upfront.
Your team does three things. We do everything else.
01
A resident list
We mark who qualifies for Pension Plus and who already has a dentist.
02
A quiet room, or the resident’s own
Visits fit around meals and medication rounds.
03
One carer in the room
Not one carer per resident.
We do
- Consent packs and family letters
- Pension Plus applications and invoicing
- Visit dates set a year ahead
- Mouth care plans for your care files
- Practice appointments and accessible transport
- Notes to the GP and existing dentist
- Same-day triage when a resident is in pain
- Training, certificates and the training register
Training runs at times your rota allows, including evenings and nights.

Care home dental care: your questions answered
Our residents already have dentists.
They keep them. We cover residents without a dentist, or who can no longer travel to one.
Will this mean more work for my staff?
Three things from your team: a resident list, a quiet room and one carer in the room. We do the rest.
Getting residents to a clinic is the hard part.
We book the appointment, arrange accessible transport and meet them at the door.
Will families get surprise bills?
No. Every treatment is quoted in writing first, Pension Plus is applied where a resident qualifies, and our fees are fixed for 12 months.
What if the visiting dentist stops coming?
Visit dates are set a year ahead, a team covers absence, and there’s no minimum term.
Will residents with dementia be distressed?
We see them in their own room with a familiar carer, and we come back another day rather than push.
Who do we call when a resident is in pain?
One number, 01534 875 587, with same-day triage. Urgent problems are seen within one working day.
Do you visit people in their own homes?
Yes. The same service is available for people receiving care in their own homes in Jersey.
What does it cost the care home?
Nothing. Residents pay only for their own treatment, quoted in writing first, and eligible Pension Plus members pay nothing upfront.
Are the hearing checks a full hearing test?
They’re screenings, not diagnostic assessments. Where more is needed, we refer to the GP or audiology.
A 20-minute visit is all it takes to start
